The account of Saul as the son of perdition has some hidden gems in it for those who will go through the end times Tribulation. These gems are encouragement for us as we endure and they lead us all the way to YHVH’s wilderness where He will gather us.

The study of King Saul as a type of the son of perdition is relevant to us at this time because YHVH sent him to punish Israel for their rejection and another son of perdition will be sent to punish Israel in the end of days. Saul’s Kingship has parallels which will help us to deepen our understanding of the one commonly called son of perdition.

We Israelites have a 3500 year history whether we know it or not. If we don’t identify as being “Israel”, we won’t understand the continuity of the story YHVH keeps telling us nor will we understand the prophecies and the escalating repeating patterns leading us to the end of days, and with it, the Great Tribulation and the implementation of YHVH’s Kingdom on earth. Believers are Israel.

The Israelites’ rebellions were destroying what YHVH had promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, i.e. that their descendants would become a nation. He had come to the point where He’d had enough, but what could He do?

The prophecies about the loss of the Ark and its return, prophetically, has a surprising end for our time. The Ark will not show up exactly where people think.
