Va’etchanan Torah Portion 2026 – How To Avoid The Mark Of The Beast

Deu 4:15  Be very careful, for you saw no kind of form on the day that Yahweh spoke to you in Horeb out of the middle of the fire, 
Deu 4:16  lest you corrupt yourselves, and make yourself a carved image in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female, 
Deu 4:17  the likeness of any animal that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the sky, 
Deu 4:18  the likeness of anything that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the water under the earth; 
Deu 4:19  and lest you lift up your eyes to the sky, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the army of the sky, you are drawn away and worship them, and serve them, which Yahweh your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole sky. 

People who are not convinced about the Jewish messiah will look at his image and become convinced so that they “worship”, ‘shachah’ or “bow to” the authority of, whether physically or mentally and emotionally, and “serve”, ‘abad’, meaning to do the will of.

Better to break your habit of needing to look at images, both static and moving, in order to understand something. If you have to look at the images, it means you are dull of hearing because we learn by hearing not by sight.

Rom 10:17  So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 

Num 15:37  Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 
Num 15:38  “Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them that they should make themselves fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put on the fringe of each border a cord of blue: 
Num 15:39  and it shall be to you for a fringe, that you may look on it, and remember all Yahweh’s commandments, and do them; and that you don’ t follow your own heart and your own eyes, after which you use to play the prostitute; 
Num 15:40  so that you may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God. 

We are permitted to remember what our own eyes of witnessed:

Deu 4:9  Only be careful, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes saw, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your children and your children’s children; 
Deu 4:10  the day that you stood before Yahweh your God in Horeb, when Yahweh said to me, “Assemble the people to me, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.”

So if you need sight in order to be convinced of whatever the image is telling you, then you are out of order. You seek your flesh instead of YHVH’s Spirit. I have been told by many people that God uses images to teach the gospel. Where do we find a scripture that says “use images to teach” My people? We learn and get faith by hearing, not by sight. Romans 10:17.

Don’t wait to break the image habit until the arrival of the Jewish Antichrist or he will convince you he is the king that fulfills prophecy and you will take his slave mark.

Deu 4:23  Be careful, lest you forget the covenant of Yahweh your God, which he made with you, and make yourselves a carved image in the form of anything which Yahweh your God has forbidden you. 

“Make” means ‘asah’ and ‘asah’ means manufacture or create or make along with using, having and acquiring.

In Deuteronomy 5, Moses repeats what was spoken of in Exodus 20, the 10 commandments. But in Deuteronomy 4, he defined what YHVH meant when He said having nothing to do with images. Moses defined that BEFORE renewing the covenant so that the Israelites would understand the definition of ‘pesel’, a statue or other image of or with the mouth of one who is serve as a deity, whether for the purpose of worship or not, and ‘t’munah’, all other images in any other form in which they can be made – paintings, bas reliefs, drawings, etc. That is YHVH’s definition of “images”. And, apparently, it is important to Him for us avoid them.

It is to their detriment that it will be the Jews who will deceive the whole world with a moving, talking image and the people will see it and be convinced by it!

IDENTITY – WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?

Now, let’s talk about identity.

Deu 4:37  Because he loved your fathers, therefore he chose their offspring after them, and brought you out with his presence, with his great power, out of Egypt; 
Deu 4:38  to drive out nations from before you greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land for an inheritance, as it is today. 

There is a great debate today about who the chosen people of YHVH are. Standing at Mount Sinai, and now in front of Moses at the renewal of the Mount Sinai covenant, were a 13 tribes. 12 tribes with Joseph’s tribes split in half to make 2 tribes: Ephraim and Manasseh.

If a bowl has 13 widgets in it and the bowl of 13 widgets becomes named, legally named, and each widget has its purpose within the whole bowl, each purpose being somewhat different (which makes each widget necessary to the entire whole), if some become missing, can the bowl of widgets still carry the name it was given? No. If the United 50 States of America lost some of its states to an enemy, would it still be the United States of America? No. Why?

During the civil war of the 1860s, the US disappeared. It was replaced with a north and a south: the Union and the Confederacy.

Each side called themselves Americans, but America was gone, wasn’t it? Some people were part of the Union and some were part of the Confederacy. There was no UNITED States of America.

YHVH made Israel at Mount Sinai. The Torah is full of ceremonies legalizing the administration and the tribes of Israel. YHVH renewed the Mount Sinai covenant twice in the Torah. He renewed it “as is” because His Israel is a legal entity.

Israel became “not Israel” in 1 Kings 12 when the northern tribes split from the southern tribes. Therefore, the southern House of Judah which was 4 tribes and the northern House of Israel which was 9 tribes, could not each be the entirety of Israel, could they? No. Yet each still claimed to be Israel.

The northern tribes completely lost their identity and, to this day, they don’t know who they are even though they have returned to Israel through the blood of the Lamb, Yeshua.

Israel is the name of YHVH’s Kingdom which He created from His heavenly throne before He ever established it on earth. And Israel has 13 tribes. Read Ezekiel 48. Each tribe will once again have a territory and THEN, only THEN, will Israel be Israel.

The other problem with the Jews calling themselves “Israel” and the “chosen people” is that they still reject the husband and King they killed. Let me ask you what happens when a wife kills her husband? She becomes a widow. she is no longer covenanted, is she?

But YHVH made a promise to her, didn’t He? What is that promise?

Isa 54:4  “Don’t be afraid; for you will not be ashamed. Don’t be confounded; for you will not be disappointed. For you will forget the shame of your youth; and the reproach of your widowhood you shall remember no more. 

She will no longer be ashamed of what she did to her own husband! Why? Because she killed Him. But He will forgive her when she recognizes that she is a widow and NOT in covenant with Him!

When will that happen?

Zec 12:10  I will pour on David’s house, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they will look to me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him, as one grieves for his firstborn. 
Zec 12:11  In that day there will be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. 
Zec 12:12  The land will mourn, every family apart; the family of David’s house apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; 
Zec 12:13  the family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of the Shimeites apart, and their wives apart; 
Zec 12:14  all the families who remain, every family apart, and their wives apart. 

The Jews will have their “come to Jesus” meeting but not until their perverted Zionism has run its course and the city’s streets have been fully trampled by “goy”/”gentiles”.

After this, when Yeshua our King establishes all 13 of the tribal territories, will all Israel be His chosen people. The bowl of 13 widgets, Israel, has to be restored in its wholeness before it can be chosen as legally created in the beginning.

There is now a legal entity made of the US and Israel in the Congressional bill that was passed into law this past week. It merges US and Israeli intelligence and militaries. THIS is now the legal form of this:

Rev 13:11  I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon. 

The legal formation of the beast empire comprised of the alliance between the US and Israel will bring forth the beast man called the Antichrist.

HOW LONG ARE WE TO CONTINUE, AS A PEOPLE, WALKING IN YHVH’s COMMANDMENTS?

Deu 5:33  You shall walk in all the way which Yahweh your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess. 

He didn’t say until I come and die for you so that I can justify removing the Law because you won’t ever be required to obey me again, did He? No. Even the Apostles taught believers the requirement to keep the Law which YHVH gave through Moses in Acts 15:19-21. The Apostles upheld the Law in all of their letters but rebellious Christianity, the false prophetic religion of the false prophets of the northern House of Israel, are teaching people to do what Yeshua said “don’t do”.

Mat 5:17  “Don’t think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn’t come to destroy, but to fulfill. 
Mat 5:18  For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished. 
Mat 5:19  Whoever, therefore, shall break one of these least commandments, and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. 
Mat 5:20  For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. 

The false prophets will suffer the consequences of teaching Christians that YHVH’s Law was done away because doing away with His Law effectively turns His Kingdom over to Satan!

Let our righteousness, which IS a requirement for entering YHVH’s Kingdom, be greater than the manmade righteousness of the religions of Judaism and Christianity!

Deu 6:4  Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is one. 

The Father and the Son are so united they are ‘echad’, ONE. The Son would never do away with the Law of His Father! He said He came to fulfill the Law of Father so that His people, afterward, would also fulfill it, DOING it with love to our Elohim.

See?

Deu 6:5  You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. 
Deu 6:6  These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; 
Deu 6:7  and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. 

Not only are we to DO the Law, we are to teach it to our children. And we are to be bound, to be bondservants to the Law, not just bondservants to YHVH Himself, but to His Law because when we bind ourselves to Him we must expect there are rules that govern His House, His Kingdom. Not only ourselves but our gates are bound to the Law.

Deu 6:8  You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes. 
Deu 6:9  You shall write them on the door posts of your house, and on your gates.

Deu 7:12  It shall happen, because you listen to these ordinances, and keep and do them, that Yahweh your God will keep with you the covenant and the loving kindness which he swore to your fathers. 

YHVH keeping covenant with us is directly related to us keeping His Law. It is not conditioned on Him keeping it! It is a condition for us!

There are conditions for remaining an Israelite, both back then and all the way to now. Being in God’s Kingdom, YHVH’s Kingdom, has conditions, folks. Repent of your sins as laid out in the Torah, not your church or synagogue, and turn to His Kingdom.
