Everyone wants to know when the coming Tribulation will start. To that end, tens of thousands of people create and post timelines and justifications for those timelines on the internet.
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord Yahweh will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.
I am not a prophet, but I am a servant and I believe YHVH helps me to understand what is happening. That does not mean that I think I am always getting things right. It means I listen carefully, pray that only His Words will be spoken or published through me and try to keep my own words out of what I tell you. I hope my own words don’t get mixed in with YHVH’s which is why I give you all the information I use through links and provide my reasoning on scriptural matters so you can be a Berean and check out what I say like Paul was checked.
That said, I want to explain something about timelines and timing of the Tribulation.
Timelining is wicked because it is a form of divination, a method of foretelling the future by taking YHVH’s numbers and forcing them to fit in places and in ways that He did not intend. Everyone who has ever published a timeline with a starting date of the Tribulation has acted as a sorcerer, a witch, practicing divination.
The Bible Codes are an abomination to YHVH because they turn His Torah into an oracle for foretelling the future. We are not to foretell the future! We are to pay attention to the prophets and servants of YHVH and, most of all, Yeshua who told us to watch (Matthew 24:42-43, 25:13, 26:41; Mark 13:33, 35, 37, 14:38; Luke 12:39, 21:36) and know the times and seasons (Matthew 16:3; 1 Thessalonians 5:1).
We are to watch, not decipher, not forecast. With that said, let me explain how we will know when the Tribulation has begun. To do that, I must explain the prophetic years found in the Book of Daniel chapter 9 verses 24 to 27.
The 70 weeks of years given in verse 24 are non-consecutive. They got fulfilled at different times. 70 total weeks of years are 490 years. But they are broken up into 7 weeks of years (49) years, 62 weeks of years (434 years) and 1 week (7 years).
Something else we must understand is that there are 3 messiahs spoken of in Daniel 9:25-27. Two verses, verses 25 and 26, are about Yeshua and the work He came to do on the cross. That is one Messiah.
Verse 27 speaks of two more and very different messiahs, each one referred to as “he”. The first one fulfills Matthew 24:3-14, the first half of the Tribulation when Jacob’s Sorrows and “reconciliation for iniquity” between YHVH’s people has been completed and the tribes reunited. Jacob’s Sorrows, the persecution of Christians by Jews, will put an end to the 2900 year civil war of the Kingdom of Israel.
Put it together this way:
Dan 9:27 He will make a firm covenant with many for one week… goes with Matthew 24:3-14 because Matthew 24:3-14 describes hatefulness and persecution between the brethren (verse 9) some of which will “deliver you up to persecution and will kill you. Verse 11 talks about the false prophets who will come. These are not just any false prophets, the ones who have come throughout the ages. Yeshua is speaking about a specific time period, the Tribulation period. These particular false prophets will appear during the Tribulation and they will have something to do with getting you beaten and killed because they will prophesy that the Jewish Messiah is the right one. When you disagree, you will be killed.
After the Sorrows are ended, at the halfway mark, another “he” (messiah) from verse 27 will come.
Dan 9:27 …and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
This one will do something no Israelite from any tribe has ever done – destroy the altar of YHVH. The only people in history to defile YHVH’s altar have been Gentiles. It will be THIS messiah, this Gentile, that will fulfill people’s expectation that the Antichrist will be a Gentile.
The former messiah will have been a Hebrew from the tribe of Judah, one of the brethren from among the family of 12 brothers. Let me ask you this question. Who was that persecuted Yeshua? Gentiles or Jews. The answer is the Jews. Who was it that persecuted the Apostles? Gentiles or the Jews. Again, the answer is the Jews. YHVH does not create new patterns. He repeats them. The second messiah will be a Gentile from outside the family of Jacob because it has only been Gentiles who tear down YHVH’s altar.
Jews, brethren, killing their brethren for not accepting their messiah will persecute their brethren who accept Yeshua as Messiah. The Antichrist is the one who will come in his own name.
Yeshua said in John 5:43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
That is the Jewish Antichrist, the one who comes in his own name, and that the Jews will accept instead of Yeshua, as Yeshua said. This Jew will set the altar up to YHVH because only someone from Jacob’s family can do this, but another person will come to tear it down which is something no Israelite has ever done.
An objection to this view is that Yeshua Messiah is one Messiah so the coming Antichrist must be fulfilled in one individual, not two. The reason this is not so is because only YHVH can bring the Messiah twice. Satan cannot make one messiah that does everything like Yeshua Messiah. In other words, Yeshua came for one thing and will come again for a different reason.
Satan cannot make a messiah that can come to do one thing then die and come back to do a different thing. Satan must use two different messiahs to mimic YHVH and do the two different things found in Daniel 9:27 – set up the altar and then tear it down. One will appear to be from Jacob’s Davidic line but he will be of the Satanic Jewish Kabbalists and the other will be a Gentile.
So now that we understand the characters, we can move forward to understand the 7-year Tribulation and its timing.
For us, the timing has to do with the last 7 years. Everyone wants to time the start of the Tribulation. YHVH never specified start times for His prophetic events. He only and always told us watch and know the seasons.
What are we looking for? Something happened just 2 weeks ago, something that is moving ahead with lightning speed – the signing of the Abraham Accord between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, the UAE.
ABRAHAM ACCORD
This Abraham Accord is a big deal and it’s a vital piece of the run up to the last 7 years. This peace deal is being touted as the one that will make peace throughout the Arab world. For a while, it may appear to do exactly that but this peace deal will have far greater implications for future global war, a war the Bible says will end in Armageddon. This peace deal has just set up the world for the fulfillment of the entire 7-year Tribulation. It will bring about the first 3.5 years with the Jewish Antichrist and the last 3.5 years with the Islamic Antichrist.
How can this one event be a precursor to all of that? Because it sets up the war between the brethren, the 12 tribes of Israel to be completed and it will conclude the ongoing 1400-year civil war between the Sunnis and Shi’ites.
The King of the North has two groups of people as enemies. Iran. One enemy is almost 1400 years old – that’s the Sunnis. Iran is the remnant of Edom through Esau’s grandson, Amalek, and leader of the Shi’ite Islamic sect. This sect has spent almost 1400 years trying to gain the Islamic succession from Mohammed. Its 3 previous attempts were stopped by the Sunnis. Those 3 previous attempts are the 3 horns that Daniel saw being plucked up from among the ten horns in Daniel 7:8.
Iran’s other enemy is Israel.
The Abraham Accord formalizes relations between Iran’s two enemies – Israel and the Sunni nation, the UAE, with possibly more to follow. The Middle East just lined itself up for a huge north-south war between Iran’s 4+2 coalition and Israel’s southern middle east coalition. Daniel 11:40-45 prophesies this war. For both Israel and the Sunni nations, this Accord is not one of making peace or desiring friendship, but one that justifies the old axiom “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”.
The Abraham Accord establishes the strategic axis of Israel, UAE, Egypt, Jordan, probably Saudi Arabia, and possibly Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Morocco and Sudan in North Africa – and in other ways also Greece and Cyprus – against the radical regimes of Iran and Turkey. The King of the North will attack the entire southern Middle East and what Daniel calls “the countries”. “The countries” (Daniel 11:40-45) that Daniel did not know about in his time today comprise the nations of the southern Middle East and North Africa.
It may be the Abraham Accord that the Jewish Antichrist will confirm or strengthen when he takes office.
Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week…
The “many” are the southern Middle East’s and North Africa’s Sunni nations which are called “the countries” in Daniel chapter 11:40-45.
This peace treaty will be the umbrella under which the Jews will see clear their way to confirm or strengthen and enforce Judaism through Jewish law known as the Talmud.
This situation will likely go straight to Judah’s, Israel’s, head, as it were. In fact, this deal probably symbolizes the one crown on the Revelation 6:2 rider. Let’s take a look and we will see something that will signal the start of the Tribulation.
Rev 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
This is the first seal. The white horse represents a pseudo-religious purity, a religious idea of purity. White war horses symbolize a “religiously pure conqueror”. This horse and rider are against YHVH and His people because YHVH’s people wear white garments to symbolize their purity, garments made possible to be white through washing them in the blood of the Lamb. War and purity are nowhere found together in scripture.
Now notice that this rider wears the crown of a king that was given to him. The crown was given to him by YHVH for the purpose of bringing an end to the His people’s and the world’s wickedness. YHVH has always used the nations to do His bidding in dealing with His people. The UAE and other nations signing onto the Abraham Accord are doing so at YHVH’s behest. Neither the Jews nor the Sunnis see the coming trouble – the tribulation – that will come of this. Rather, they are saying “peace, peace”.
This rider is the counterfeit messiah. He is the Jewish Antichrist. How do I know? The first seal starts the Tribulation. And on his head is a crown. He wears only one and it is intended to show him as the one who will sit in YHVH’s temple showing himself to be god (2 Thessalonians 2:4) – either the false god of the House of Judah whose name we do not know yet or the God of all Israel whose name is Yeshua. This one riding the horse is not the true messiah because Yeshua will wear many crowns (Revelation 19:12) not just one.
This one crown can now be identified through the name of the peace treaty “Abraham Accord”. It appears to be the crown of the Abraham family. The name appeals to Sunnis, Jews and Christians and for the Shi’ites indicates that the Sunnis, Jews and Christians are the only children of Abraham which leaves out the Shi’ite connection to Abraham. You can see how this name will cause a problem for the Shi’ites and the Shi’ites will fight back! Esau knows he is related to Abraham and believes he is the rightful heir to the Promised Land!
Notice that the rider’s bow has no arrows. The bow without arrows symbolizes political victory. This rider is taking over the earth using politics and ideologies – Communist ideologies, to be exact, and various technologies! Israel is now one of the world’s technology powerhouses. Politicking is exactly what the US and Israel, the 2nd beast of Revelation 13, are doing. Together, they are politicking Israel into global supremacy.
This rider goes forth “conquering” and “to conquer”. This is similar language to the King of the North who goes out “conquering” and “utterly to make away many”. Each Antichrist, the Jewish one first and the Shi’ite one second, has the same agenda to conquer and subdue the entire earth under their religion. And I just said earlier that, for the Jews, the Abraham Accord is just the umbrella agreement needed to bring Judaism to bear on the earth.
Don’t expect the Antichrist to announce that this treaty will only last 7 years when he strengthens or confirms it. That number is in the prophecy because it was decreed by YHVH.
The Jewish Antichrist will tell the world when he takes office, i.e. confirm or strengthen (the Hebrew word is ‘gabar’, Strong’s H1396), that this is the peace the earth has been waiting for and all the nations must adhere to it. The Jewish Antichrist riding the white religious horse, carrying the political bow without arrows and wearing only the one crown called the Abraham Accord will affirm that he is the king of Israel everyone has been waiting for and that he will now rule during the 1,000 year ‘world to come’ – he and his sons who he will claim are from the line of David. (‘World to come’ is Judaism’s term for the Millennium.)
This horse and rider heralds the first half of the 7-year tribulation, the mechanism by which Yeshua YHVH will not only clean up His people but will remove any further claim to His throne that any messiah may think he has whether Jewish or Edomite.
Here is another signal that the Tribulation has begun. It is the sealing of the 144,000.
It is popular in the Hebrew Roots Movement now to say that tribal affiliation does not matter because tribal affiliation does not get you salvation. That sentiment is only partially true because tribal affiliation is how we will know YHVH kept His promise. He promised Jacob that all of Jacob’s descendants would have a place in the Kingdom and all of them are named in the creation of the nation of Israel. There is no Biblical Israel without all 12 tribes. But how people will get into a tribe is through salvation from Yeshua.
The 144,000 are both symbolic and actual. 12 tribes times 1,000 equals 12,000 members sealed for each tribe. This is a prophetic statement about the reunification of the WHOLE House of Israel at the halfway mark of the 7-year period after the other seals have been fulfilled which says these tribes will never again be lost.
The figurative use of the whole number 1,000 is common in Old Testament usage. God will increase the number of the Israelites 1,000 times according to the promise in (Deuteronomy 1:11); God keeps his covenant to 1,000 generations (Deuteronomy 7:9).
If there is a chronology in Revelation, we will see that the 144,000 are sealed after the political Antichrist, the Jewish Antichrist, rides on his white horse closely followed by 3 more seals that cause horses to ride that wreak havoc on the earth. And we have to understand the rest of these seals before we get to the sealing of the 144,000.
The 5th seal reveals the brutality of the Jewish Antichrist’s 4 horses who run roughshod over believers in Yeshua all over the world. Those riders have brought war, economic crashes and death to the world trying to extinguish believers in Yeshua. The broken 5th seal reveals the souls under the altar who will be killed by the Jewish Antichrist for their faith.
The 6th seal is YHVH’s roar of anger at the Jews in the UN-created modern political State of Israel for their iniquity against their brethren. Daniel 9:24 says that one of the 6 promises that must be fulfilled is the reconciliation between the brethren. This can also be viewed as the reunification. This cannot happen until YHVH has poured out His wrath on both Jews and Christians for their various iniquities of denying Yeshua or rejecting His Lawful Torah authority over them.
Thus, in Revelation 6:12, YHVH now roars at Israel, His people, and their iniquity will be finished. The Jewish messiah will die in battle as understood in Judaism eschatology and in will ride the second Antichrist, the Islamic one AKA the Mahdi from the Shi’ites.
Let’s read the 6th seal to see how YHVH begins to punish Israel, and the nations along with it.
Rev 6:12 Then I saw the lamb open the sixth seal. There was a powerful earthquake. The sun turned as black as sackcloth made of hair, and the full moon turned as red as blood.
Rev 6:13 The stars in the sky fell to the earth like a fig tree drops its fruit when it is shaken by a strong wind.
YHVH begins to stone Israel (which is scattered all over the earth) with meteors. YHVH’s most common capital punishment method of His people is stoning. And where are His people who have caused those martyrs to cry out from under the altar in the 5th seal? Meaning those martyrs died for the faith in the God and King of Israel? They are all over the earth. Therefore, YHVH must stone the entire earth to punish the physical, but non-believing people of Jacob for their capital crimes against YHVH and their brethren.
Rev 6:14 The sky vanished like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved from its place.
This could be the astro-geographical event of the flipping of the north and south poles.
Rev 6:15 Then the kings of the earth, the important people, the generals, the rich, the powerful, and all the slaves and free people concealed themselves in caves and among the rocks in the mountains.
Every nation on earth has dug bunkers under their lands in which they will hide for a time from the meteor showers and the pole shift. The important people will take their workers, their slaves – secretaries, people who build stuff and carry out the commands of the important ones – into their bunkers. Ordinary people will hide in caves or basements hunkering down where they are.
This will happen at the 3.5 years mark when the Gog-Magog war has been completed by YHVH sending in the Shi’ite King of the North whose Mahdi is the Islamic Antichrist.
-YHVH will pour out His Ruach on both Houses after this as prophesied in Zechariah12:7-10 and Ezekiel 39.
Zec 12:7 “The LORD will deliver the tents of Judah first, so that neither the glory of the house of David nor the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem overshadows Judah.
Zec 12:8 At that time, the LORD will defend those who live in Jerusalem, and the one who is feeble among them at that time will be like David. The entire house of David will be like God—indeed, like the angel of the LORD in their midst!
Zec 12:9 “At that time, I will search out and destroy all of the nations who have come against Jerusalem.
Zec 12:10 I will pour out on the house of David and on the residents of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and of supplications, and they will look to me—the one whom they pierced.”
Simultaneously, YHVH will pour His Ruach out on the House of Israel, those who have escaped the Jewish Antichrist’s sword in the Gog-Magog war.
Eze 39:25 “Therefore this is what the Lord GOD has to say: ‘I’m going to restore the resources of Jacob and show mercy to the entire house of Israel. I’ll be zealous for my own reputation and for my holiness.Eze 39:26 They’ll forget their shame and all of their unfaithfulness by which they behaved so unfaithfully toward me. They will live on their land in confidence, not in fear.
Eze 39:27 When I bring them back from the nations and gather them together from the lands that belong to their enemies, I will demonstrate my holiness through them right in front of the eyes of the world,
Eze 39:28 and they will learn that I am the LORD their God, who sent them into exile and who gathered them back to their land. I will not leave any of them remaining in exile.
Eze 39:29 I’ll no longer hide my presence from them again when I pour out my Spirit on the house of Israel,” declares the Lord GOD.
YHVH’s “roar” of the great earthquake and the asteroid meteors stoning the earth will end the House of Israel’s iniquity of the 2900 year civil war within the Kingdom and will restore and reunite the 12 tribes. The Gog-Magog war will be the final battle between the Houses of Judah and Israel. It is then that we see the 144,000 sealed because these will be joining Yeshua for the fighting of the descendants of Esau, the Shi’ites who will be coming. The reunited tribes will need Yeshua’s help because they will have been so weakened military by the Gog-Magog and KOTN simultaneous wars that unless Yeshua and His angels literally come to fight, Israel would lose. But Yeshua will put an end to Esau, as well.
Out of Esau, Ishmael will be saved and given his place within the Kingdom but outside and next door to the Promised land as the Word promises. Ishmaelites, who right now are Muslims, will believe Yeshua is their God. He will no longer be relegated to being just a prophet under the authority of Mohammed – and they will accept His authority as King and will begin to obey the Torah, the Kingdom’s laws.
The Ishmaelites are the descendants of Abraham’s oldest son and Isaac’s half-brother. Ishmael was circumcised and, thus, is part of the Abrahamic Covenant. Isaac was the promised son, but Ishmael will have his place in Yeshua’s Kingdom as prophesied in Isaiah 60:7.
YHVH’s “woman” of Revelation 12:6 will flee to the wilderness where Ishmael now lives in southern Jordan. She will flee to escape the last 3.5 years of Tribulation AKA the GREAT Tribulation (because it will be worse than the first half), Jacob’s Sorrows.
So, the 144,000 sealing will come after the 6th seal of the earthquake with the simultaneous worldwide stoning of Jacob’s descendants for their complicities with the Jewish Antichrist and all their prior sins from 2900 years ago. And again, this will be YHVH’s statement that His House, the House of Yeshua (Hebrews 3:6), has been reestablished.
In fact, that is the message behind the sealing of the 144,000 in Revelation 7. As soon as the punishment of the WHOLE House of Israel – all 12 tribes – is completed, the 144,000 will be sealed to YHVH just like the tribes were sealed to YHVH in Numbers 2 and 3!
Somehow, YHVH’s people will be made aware that this sealing has happened. It will come halfway through the Tribulation period and will let us know that the tribes are now tribes of a full House of Jacob! This is the sign of the restoration of Biblical Israel!
In the same chapter, though, we also read about the end of the 7 years after Yeshua has returned.
Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
Rev 7:10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
Up to verse 8, the 144,000 are sealed. There is still Tribulation happening, but here in verse 9 it looks as if its if over. It is not. The prophecy skips to the end after Yeshua has returned to show us what will come of the sealing of the 144,000 which is for the purpose of Yeshua creating a fighting force just as Moses did in the wilderness when the Israelites were going to take possession of the land. In our future, though, the retaking of the land will involve the battle of Armageddon and Armageddon only comes at the end of the 7 years. So YHVH provided the view of what will be AFTER Armageddon because from here on out in the Book of Revelation are some horrible scenes coming to the earth. This vision of the massive number of people who will be saved through this 7-year period is given to provide us with hope! It is our hope in Yeshua that will help us to be overcomers and get through this period. YHVH wants us to hold onto the promise of those multitudes during all of the next 3.5 years when the Islamic Antichrist rules.
But Ephraim and Dan are not among the tribes sealed. So, the sealing of the end times tribes is both an actual announcement by our King and it is symbolic of those whom YHVH will arm for war because it excludes Ephraim and Dan. This sealing of the 144,000 is to give Islam notice that Biblical Israel is once again a nation (look out!) and there is now a united Jacobite or Israelite presence on the earth to warn the Islamic world that the end is coming for them and YHVH is about to return in wrath to destroy Esau once and for all!
Ephraim, the Western nations (primarily the United States) will be left out because of some of these things:
Isa 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
Isa 17:2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
Isa 17:3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts.
Ephraim, represented by the US, will have spent its major military efforts in Damascus fighting the Iranian 4+2 Coalition and the Gog-Magog war on Israeli soil and will be so weakened that this tribe will right here revert back to Joseph. It will be the tribe of Joseph who will be sealed.
Rev 7:8 Of the tribe of Zebulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
Ephraim became the weakest, spiritually, of all the tribes besides Dan when Jeroboam set up golden calves in Bethel and Dan, created an anti-Aaronic priesthood and told the northern tribes to stay away from Jerusalem. The House of Israel kings brought all kinds of demon worship into YHVH’s land after that and made covenants with the foreign nations around them for the purpose of overcoming the House of Judah in the south.
See? It wasn’t just the House of Judah warring against the House of Israel that is the reason YHVH has to get His people to atone and make reconciliation for their iniquity against each other. The House of Israel, too, has its history starting way back there 2900 years ago. However, this iniquity will reach its height during the first 3.5 years of Tribulation with all the persecution of believers in Yeshua and the subsequent Gog-Magog war at the halfway mark of the 7 year Tribulation. Thus, Ephraim will be weakened from fighting the Muslims (Damascus) and the Gog-Magog war. All of these things together are why Ephraim will not be sealed. And Ephraim as a separate tribe will never be sealed because Joseph will be sealed and Ephraimites will now be sealed within Joseph, their father.
Another reason for Ephraim not being sealed that has to do with Psalms 78:9.
Psalms 78:9 The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle.
IVPBBC: There are not enough details given to identify the battle that is being referred to here. Ephraim is often used as a title for the entire northern kingdom of Israel. This could refer to something fairly early in Israelite history such as the defeat to the Philistines that brought about the loss of the ark. This would be supported by the fact that the listing of problems ends with that incident (vv. Psa_78:60-64). Alternatively, others would go as far into history as the fall of the northern kingdom to the Assyrians in 722.
Some say that Ephraim is not listed because Ephraim is what the entire northern House of Israel is called and Ephraim is represented in all those tribes. This is nonsensical because YHVH will not establish His Kingdom on anything less than 12 unique tribes. Ephraim, the House of Israel, is either 9 or 10 tribes, depending on how you look at it.
Joseph is listed because he will now be taking his rightful place in the Kingdom. He also will receive a double-portion inheritance in the Kingdom because both Manasseh and Ephraim will receive their own territories (Ezekiel 48:4,5) under Joseph’s name. Nothing given by YHVH is ever taken away.
Manasseh, the oldest son of Joseph, will be sealed because a tribe has to stand in for one that will not yet be sealed, but one which will have a gate in the coming King’s Temple – Dan. There will be a gate in the Temple and the City for Dan but he is not present in the sealing of the 144,000. Why?
Some claim that Dan is omitted because the Jewish Antichrist will descend from Dan. Dan is not one of the tribes included in the House of Judah. The Antichrist must come from the tribe of Judah because he comes from the line of David through Solomon. So this claim is false.
However, Dan has a reputation of being a serpent (Genesis 49:17), he readily accepted the golden calf of Jeroboam in his territory but also rejected his allotted territory in the land. In fact, Dan never conquered his own territory. He went to live in Naphtali and Ephraim’s territories. Ephraim, the source of the idols in his own and what should have been Dan’s territory, assumed control over the land originally intended for Dan when Dan went north to live with Naphtali instead of conquering his own territory. So Ephraim did what the House of Judah is doing today – usurping another tribe’s territory. Dan is also missing from the genealogies of 1 Chronicles 1-9. All of the tribes have been, and still are being, wicked. It isn’t just the House of Judah, the Jews, that are wicked, folks.
Rejecting the Promised Land by not taking his territory is the same thing Ephraim did turning back in the day of battle. Ephraim and Dan have both showed themselves to be unsuitable for battle! These are not people you want to have fighting in your army when you’re coming up against Esau at Armageddon! The sealing of the 144,000 restores the Kingdom of Israel under Yeshua’s command as a fighting force. No cowards allowed!
Ephraim and Dan have something else in common regarding the Land. These sins give just cause for God to exclude them from the privilege of preparing Israel and the world for the Messiah’s return. This preparation is also part of the reason for sealing the 144,000. They are preparing the world to receive their King and their King will be the entire world’s King!
Levi, which was not numbered among the warriors in Numbers 1 and 2, will be sealed as warriors in order to take his rightful place among the tribes as warriors which they were not in Israel’s original configuration in the first Exodus. All of the Levites served only in the Tabernacle and did not go to war.
And here is a final insight given to me by a friend here in Aqaba. The sealing of the 144,000 also has to do with killing those who took the mark of the beast. It was the Levites who stood with Moses against those who had worshiped the image of the beast in the first Exodus. The golden calf. This 144,000 will not only help to destroy the Gentile nations at Armageddon but will kill those who worshiped the beast (Antichrist) and his image. YHVH’s patterns always repeat themselves and when the 144,000 stand up to kill the image and beast worshipers, they will be reversing what happened at the golden calf.
