Rather than showing us rule after rule, commandment after commandment, in Emor the LORD is showing us His heart for us and asking that we have a heart for Him. We are to honor the set apart priests and their role before the LORD on our behalf, desire all of the gifts that the LORD has given to us and accept His invitation to Feast at His House. Finally, we are to understand His vengeance because through it He shows us His mercy.
